Aube - Low Spin Drift

He was interested in sound work since the 80s, but had not released anything until he was asked to create music for an art installation in the early 90s. Since then, he has created an enormous amount of work - most of which is based on one sound source. Anything is used - from glass to oscillators and even pages from the Bible. His early work is noisier, while his new direction leans toward ambient.

Pan sonic - Urania

Originally, the band was called Panasonic, but the corporation of the same name discovered this and threatened with legal action unless it was changed. The conflict was resolved, and the duo removed the "a" from their name altogether to become "Pan Sonic". The missing "a" lives on as the title of their 1999 album.

Anemic Cinema-live solo noise/music by Ahad aka Zsolt Sores

Sonic Youth - 11/08/85 Brighton Beach - Inhuman

Part of the first wave of American noise rock groups, the band carried out their interpretation of the hardcore punk ethos throughout the evolving American indie underground that focused more on the DIY ethic of the genre rather than its specific sound.

Esplendor Geométrico

They took the name "Geometric Splendor" from GEOMETRIC AND MECHANICAL SPLENDOR AND THE NUMERICAL SENSIBILITY (Italian: Lo splendore geometrico e meccanico e la sensibilità numerica), a text of the Italian futurist, F.T. Marinetti.

Sunn O))) - Báthory Erzsébet

is an American drone metal band in its broadest sense; however, the band incorporates elements of the dark ambient, black metal and noise genres as well

Merzbow - Minus Zero

Since 2001, Akita started utilising samples of animal sounds in various releases starting with Frog.

The Haters- 05-18-91 Klub Komotion

During the 1990’s The Haters developed many different recurring techniques using amplified gear. The only reason The Haters started incorporating live sound in performances was to re-emphasis the action taking place. Not for the sake of the sound itself. There’s no linear progression here. Themes and techniques would overlap back and forth, but overall, the performances were getting louder. By 1995 The Haters had ceased using pre-recorded soundtracks all together. They would now use any one of several theatrical devices to function as stage curtains.

Die Like a Dog Quartet - Jazz Festival Berlin 1995

here on youtube

The musicians in Die Like A Dog are an unanchored tribe representing the great unsponsored. They answer only to themselves. It is the great privilege of the unsponsored to be free to push on towards the frontier unhindered, stretching the boundaries, energised by dislocation, travelling wherever work, inspiration and the cooperative challenge takes them. Always ready to move on, to shoot an arrow at the horizon.

zoviet france - something spooked the horses

Their music often consists of droning textures set against fractured rhythms and fleeting dissonant melodies and their earlier recordings have been described as "evoking a cross between musique concrète and tribal music".

Glenn Branca: Live solo 1978

Soon thereafter he began composing symphonies for orchestras of electric guitars and percussion, which blended droning industrial cacophony and microtonality with quasi-mysticism and advanced mathematics.
